Ángela Aguilar's XV Bash

When we found out we would be DJing Ángela Aguilar's XV, we were stunned. At fifteen she already carried the future of regional Mexican music, with a legendary family behind her.

The event was complex in every direction — production, coordination and music. Planner Mariana Gurrola led it. Pepe Aguilar, Ángela, her siblings and a group of artists close to the family performed at different points of the night, including an 18-piece mariachi. The venue was split into rooms, each with its own lighting, sound and amenities; the main one held the dance floor and the disco balls Ángela asked for.

Ángela danced "Tu sangre en mi cuerpo" with her father. We have played that song at hundreds of quinceañeras — this time we played it for the people who made it.
