Mike started downloading MP3s at a young age, and by 16 he was already an admin of a popular P2P server in Latin America with over 900,000 users. DJs and clubs in Mexico City began reaching out to him for rare remixes, which led him to start producing his own tracks. As his reputation grew, nightclub owners sought him out for DJ recommendations and performances. He began DJing at a local bar in Zona Esmeralda and quickly rose to perform at top nightclubs in Mexico City.
Mike founded vbmusic as a secret music studio, curating DJ talent and creating remixes for exclusive venues. Fifteen years later the brand hosts around 200 private events a year, with Mike performing on a good number of those stages.
